Karen Kjell

As a lifelong musician, I actually came to visual arts relatively late in life. I was 40
when I began to really pursue an interest in drawing and watercolor. It was the
summer of 2017 when I first began to learn about clay. I took classes and found that
I had a knack for it, and I came to really love it. So, from January 2018 until the
present, I have had the goal of gaining the skills to be a well-rounded potter. This
enables me to concentrate on what I would like to create rather than what I am able
to make.
