I have been interested in art since I was a child. I was always copying drawings and pictures from
magazines and was encouraged by my mother to do so as she, too, was an art enthusiast and
loved to draw. I have taken various workshops and community classes over the years, and finally
decided to enroll in The Academy of Fine Art, Denmark, WI, which is directed by Molly Johnson, a
well-known professional artist. I am a recent graduate of the Academy.
I have been juried into the Secura Art Show in Appleton, WI as well as the Miller Museum Art Show in
Sturgeon Bay, WI. I have also exhibited several times in the Arts Unlimited Spring Show in Green
Bay, have chaired two of their art exhibitions, and have been an award winner. I exhibied at the
Wickenburg Gold Rush Art Show in Wickenburg, AZ and won an award there.
I am a past president of Arts Unlimited and am the current president of the Green Bay Art Colony. I
paint with oils, and sometimes with watercolor, in a realistic style, painting from both life and photo
references. My favorite subjects are landscapes and portraits.
